Prioritize high-yield breach types
Target breaches known to offer dense monster waves, lucrative drops, and desirable catalysts or Breach-specific loot. If a breach type consistently delivers better currency and upgrade materials, make it a regular part of your farming cadence rather than chasing every breach that appears.
Optimize splinter management
Splinters are the gatekeepers to Breach Stones. Create a simple routing plan that maximizes splinter collection with minimal downtime between breaches. Convert splinters into Breach Stones only when you have a clear plan for which breach to run next and you have enough splinters to guarantee meaningful loot density.
Build for breach density and survivability
Breaches reward efficiency: dense packs and quick-clear rotations usually yield more loot per hour. Ensure your build can handle large densities without dying frequently. Prioritize defenses, flasks, and quick escapes so breaches stay on a sustainable pace.
Plan loot distribution and upgrades
In team play, establish a transparent loot plan and breach-stone usage policy to avoid stalls between runs. For solo players, keep a personal loot log and a clear upgrade path: which items or currencies you’re targeting, and how each breach contributes toward those goals.
Balance risk with progression
It’s tempting to push for the most lucrative breaches, but overcommitting can lead to wipes and wasted resources. Use a tiered approach: start with safer breaches to build confidence and gear, then gradually introduce higher-density breaches as your survivability and rotations improve. Always have a fallback plan if a breach becomes too dangerous or low-yield.
